How long are my tickets valid for?
When you purchase a ticket from Starbus but for some reason are unable to use it, the ticket will remain valid for 12 months from the date of issue.
If you contact Starbus, we may keep a copy of any correspondence from you, this will not be given to any third party unless required by Australian law.
We do not sell, trade or rent user information to anyone. Starbus operates its own reservation and customer service department. When you travel with us, your details never leave Starbus.
If there is a query with your reservation, for whatever reason, one of our customer service representatives will contact you via email and or phone. If your reservation does not contain enough information (e.g. address details) for us to complete it, one of our customer service representatives will contact you via email and or phone. If you have elected to, you will receive occasional email newsletters from us. You may cancel these at any time. We may contact you and pass on your details to third-parties if we believe you have violated the terms and conditions associated with using Starbus, or, we believe you to be involved in activities harmful to Starbus or other users of Starbus.
PayPal Ticket Sales
Starbus Airport Shuttle offers customers the ability to book and pay for their tickets online. You will need to provide details of your credit card in order to purchase a ticket online. You will also need to have access to a printer to print your confirmation online alternatively, you need to take down the confirmation number and present this to the driver as proof of payment.
As stated on our price table, a child is classified as aged between 4-14, while adult fares apply to persons 15 years and over. A child 3 years and under is permitted to travel free of charge providing they don’t require a seat. This may mean that the child must sit on the carer’s lap. All fares are in Australian dollars and include GST (Goods and Services Tax)
Exclusions of Liability
Starbus will take all reasonable steps to ensure you have a safe and enjoyable trip. We do not take responsibility for events that are beyond our control and accept no liability for passengers missing their flights, meetings or events. If a passenger is objectionable to other passengers or disturbing and causing discomfort, they will be asked to leave the shuttle. If a passenger is under the influence of alcohol or drugs or believed to be physically or mentally incapable of travelling they will not be permitted to use a Starbus service. Starbus Airport Shuttle is not liable for cost incurred as a result of a passenger precluded to travel.
Baggage, including any carry-on baggage and personal items is the sole responsibility of the passenger. Starbus Airport Shuttle will not be held liable or accept any responsibility in the event of theft or damage to passenger baggage. In respect to loss of luggage, arising from negligence, a compensation of $400.00 for large baggage (standard suitcase size) and $100.00 (length 48cm, height 34cm) for a carry on will be provided. Starbus Airport Shuttle will not be held liable for damage to baggage as a result of normal wear and tear.
Starbus will not refund tickets purchased unless the request has been made due to an error on our part and in this situation refunds would only be done at our discretion. Tickets purchased from the Airport Travellers services info desk (Melboure Airport Shuttle) have been sold to you by another company, these tickets allow transport on our buses but if you have any disputes or questions relating to refunds you must contact them directly as we can’t help you with your enquiry’s. You may retain your ticket for use anytime in the following 12 months after the purchase date.
